Madonna snubs Perth concert

23 June 2015 by News Desk

ent_madonnaMadonna will not be performing in Perth during her tour of Australia next year.

The 56 yr-old singer has announced that she’ll perform a total of six concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane during the Australian leg of her Rebel Heart world tour in March 2016. No reason has been given for leaving Perth off her concert schedule, her first down under since 1993.

The Material Girl will play arenas and entertainment centres in the east with tickets set to cost between $100-$500 with VIP packages around $1500. Tickets go on sale July 6 with Madonna’s first concert set for Melbourne on March 12 2016.

Madonna last visited Australia on her Girlie Show: Live Down Under tour of 1993. Her new Rebel Heart tour, named after Madonna’s 13th studio album released last March, is her third and final tour as part of her 10-year contract with promoters Live Nation that has earned the star over $150 million.
