The British star who stepped up to the big league with her recent headline show at Glastonbury, will perform six concerts in Australia in November.
Group leader Florence Welch has been compared to female singers such as Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux, PJ Harvey and Björk. Florence says that Grace Slick is a major influence and her “hero”. Florence and the Machine’s image and style has been described as “dark, robust and romantic”, their music a mix of “classic soul and midnight-on-the-moors English art rock”.
Tickets to Florence + The Machine’s How Big Tour go on sale at 10am Monday Aug 3. All shows are All Ages.
