Queensland tops business confidence

11 May 2015 by News Desk

investment2Companies in Queensland are more confident about the current and future business environment than any other state in Australia.

National Australia Bank’s latest business survey reveals the Sunshine State also has the best trend business confidence rate with +5 points in April.

While other key indicators recently claimed confidence fell in the first three months of 2015, NAB Treasurer Curtis Pitt says the new figures show it’s important not to rely on just one set of data. “We are in an unchanged position from last month, certainly well and truly up in terms of confidence ahead of other states. That is a good result from Queensland.”

Darrell Todd, CEO of thinkingaustralia, says: “These latest results show that Queensland remains a leading destination for migrants seeking to invest in a company or start a new business in Australia”.
