During these difficult times, our thoughts and good wishes go out to everyone affected directly and indirectly by Covid-19 and to all health workers on the front line.

We want to let you know that thinkingaustralia remains open for business, with a number of our staff working remotely on a daily basis as normal.

Restrictions have been put in place globally to combat the spread of the virus. thinkingaustralia fully supports these measures, we also encourage all our Clients to continue with the migration and/or visa process as this will favour you on the eventual return to work announcement by the Australian Government.

The current situation will result in a major economic up-turn when Australia returns to work, and we will be ready for it. We urge every client to remain focused on your Dream for Australia.

Recruitment:

We will continue to work actively on your behalf during this time of uncertainty, but please be aware that many of our Employer – Clients have put recruitment on hold for the next 4 weeks until it becomes clear how long current restrictions will last. In the meantime we will endeavour to arrange Skype job interviews wherever possible.

Migration:

We will continue to work on your behalf with regard to the migration process. If you need Medical or Skills Assessment or to take the English test, or other key part of the process, we suggest you complete these stages now and be ahead of the rest and ready for the Government’s return to normal activities.

When the current emergency subsides we anticipate a large spike in demand and requirements from employers, from jobseekers, visa applicants and PR Migrants. We suggest that clients use this enforced period of downtime to collect and prepare all necessary official paperwork and key stage materials.

We will keep you informed and updated with any changes to official guidelines, legislation and advice from the Australian government relating to visa, employment, migration and travel processes.
