A Tenancy Administrator is required to fill a part time position at a leading Community Housing organisation in Melbourne, Australia.

Melbourne is a great place to work and CHL is offering a diverse and rewarding role. They seek a Tenancy Administrator passionate about supporting and engaging with young people in a community setting. Dutries will also include social housing property and tenancy management.

This role is part time 11.00am to 5.00pm (22hrs per week) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Hours may increase later in the year.

As a Tenancy Administrator your duties will involve, but are not limited to:

Managing tenancies to a high standard towards sustainable and successful tenancies, in particular being proactive with tenancies at risk;
Planning and engaging with tenants in activities (including Working closely with Anglicare support staff at the communal facility) towards building living skills to support sustainable tenancies
Ensuring timely and effective tenancy and property management administration requirements including a series of weekly data monitoring and reporting

To be successful in this role you will need experience and demonstrated abilities in a number of aspects including:
An understanding of the issues surrounding client disadvantage and community support services
A commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing
Good, communication, computer and administration skills
Understanding of tenancy legislation and tenancy management
A willingness and ability to monitor and undertake property and tenancy management
Compliance requirements
Good organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise your workload is a must
A current driver’s licence is mandatory as is a police check

Salary: salary packaging along with bonus performance payment of up to 10% of base salary if Key Performance Indicators are met.
