Emigrate to Australia where the centre of Brisbane is set to be transformed by new business, retail and housing developments along the north shore of the river.
Major job-creating projects include:
A $3 billion casino resort featuring five premium hotel brands and three residential towers in addition to the casino.
The project will create a major new riverside precinct with housing for 15,000 residents. The new Northshore development will also become an employment hub for about 15,000 workers in retail precincts and office parks.
A $3.8 billion second runway at the Brisbane Airport that will be the biggest aviation project in Australia. The new airport runway will create 2,700 construction jobs and a further 7,800 jobs in the Brisbane/Moreton region upon completion.
A $100 million re-development of Howard Smith Wharves near the Story Bridge that will feature a riverside dining and retail precinct.
A $3 billion redevelopment of Queen’s Wharf that is forecast to boost the state economy by $4 billion and deliver a $1.69 billion annual increase in tourism and 1.39 million additional tourists per year. This project will include five new premium hotel brands; three residential towers; a new department store and 50 food and beverage outlets.

Brisbane is also putting together a bid to host the 2028 Olympic Games, a move that will create thousand of additional new jobs in coming years.
