Experienced teachers are being sought to fill 12 Senior Education Officer roles in Brisbane, Australia.
Due to new projects introduced for the start of the 2016 school year, Smart Teachers is seeking three English teachers, two Mathematics teachers, in addition to teachers specialising in Science; Physical Education / Health Education; Manufacturing; Recreation; History; Geography and Business.
The successful candidates will have a key leadership role in promoting an understanding and valuing of moderated school-based assessment. Comprehensive understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland senior syllabuses and experience within the 10 – 12 phase of schooling is expected as part of this role. Promoting the quality assurance processes for Authority subjects, Authority registered subjects and learning projects will also be central to the role.
Applicants for this vacancy require experience and expertise in assessment and moderation processes in the relevant subject (listed above).
All roles are based in Brisbane. All positions are full time (36 ½ hours per week ) for 12 months at this stage but it is highly likely all will be extended through to 2018. The remuneration level will be between $87 746 to $93 882.
