A research assistant is required to fill a full time position in Melbourne, Australia.

Research job in MelbourneThe Research Assistant will be part of a team of researchers and students in Melbourne interested in nutritional medicine in mental health.

The position will be based at The Melbourne Clinic, Richmond and will report to Dr Jerome Sarris with day-to-day tasks delegated by the Clinical Trials Coordinator.

The Research Assistant will work across multiple research projects including clinical trials and lifestyle program evaluations.

The primary duty of the Research Assistant will be to screen potential participants over the phone for entry into nutraceutical clinical trials and research.

This position requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic and skilful communicator.

Other key activities will be contributing to publications, literature reviews, data collection, screening participants for entry into clinical trials, data entry and administration support.

This position will require a flexible multi-tasker who can autonomously switch between projects and tasks depending on need.

Salary: $64,863 – $88,016 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation
