Study in Australia where the University of Canberra has risen higher in two prestigious world rankings.
Study in Australia at the University of Canberra which has risen in rankings in the Times Higher Education World Rankings (THE) and the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) top 100 young universities.
An improved performance in research and teaching reputation, an international outlook and citation of publications by academic peers has helped University of Canberra rise in both world rankings.
The University of Canberra has been ranked in the 401-500 band in the 2016-2017 THEWorld University Rankings, up from last year’s position in the 501-600 band.
University of Canberra is now the 24th ranked institution in Australia, an increase from 28th last year.
The University of Canberra has also risen to the 81-90 band of universities under the age of 50 in the 2016-17 QS young university rankings compared with the 91-100 band in 2015.

“The University of Canberra is only 26 years old and this is fantastic recognition of its outstanding achievements in its very young history,” said Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Deep Saini,
“Our education and research performance has continued to rise sharply in the past few years and we are committed to continue working hard to ensure we keep improving in the years to come,” he said.
“We have big plans for the next few years and these results show we are definitely heading in the right direction.”
