F1’s Ricciardo “disappointed”
12 May 2015 by News DeskAustralian F1 star Daniel Ricciardo was disappointed with his 10th place finish at the Spanish Grand Prix, but not as much as team boss Christian Horner who believes the 2015 F1 season is a ‘write-off’.
“I think tenth place must be my worst qualifying and finish since I started with the team, so it wasn’t the best day,” Daniel Ricciardo said. “I don’t really have an explanation for why that happened. I am disappointed with the outcome, as I had hoped to be at least P7. We are not really quick enough down the straights.”
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says the 2015 F1 season is a ‘write-off’ due to Red Bull’s lack of speed and reliability. “We are so far on the back foot with reliability that, to be honest, this year is pretty much a write-off,” Horner said. “You just have to go for it, even if they end up using 20 engines, it would be better to learn and make progress for next year.”
Darrell Todd, CEO of thinking australia, says:”Daniel may be having a tough season but nothing seems to dent his enthusiasm – or his world-famous smile”.
