American Airlines service to Sydney

15 June 2015 by News Desk

travel_americanairlinesAmerican Airlines is adding a new service from Los Angeles to Australia. Its’ new daily nonstop service to Sydney, starting in December, will use Boeing 777-300ER jets.

American Airlines, who will face fierce competition on the LAX-Sydney route from Delta, United and Virgin Australia, are able to fly the route as part of their joint business partnership with Qantas whose planes also fly to Los Angeles.

American Airlines and its partner Qantas were founding members of the oneworld frequent-flier alliance and they have a passenger-sharing partnership that offers reciprocal frequent-flier benefits to members of their loyalty programs.
