As part of your relocation service we provide the following

Before you go, we will:

• Put you in contact with your relocation agent in the state you are moving to
• Provide a login to a reserved area of the web site, with a knowledge base and ability to ask your agent questions
• Provide a printable checklist of things that need doing
• Help to find a cheap flight deal
• Book your accommodation for arrival
• Help you find a rental property and liaise with the landlord/landlady
• Advise you in setting up an Australian bank account and how to transfer funds
• Offer help with shipping freight and storage (if needed) within your relocation area
• Advise on pet quarantine

When you arrive, we will:

• Arrange for a hire car, taxi or limo at the airport to pick you up and take you to your accommodation
• On arrival at your hotel or other accommodation will be a welcome message from your relocation agent, a snack pack (milk, tea, coffee, fruit etc), a local map (Melways etc), and a phone card or SIM card for your mobile phone (make sure your phone is unlocked)
• Enquire on your behalf about vehicle breakdown cover, places of Worship, insurances, pensions, hospital funds, Ambulance cover, Medicare and much more.
• Provide information for the nearest schools, Centrelink, Doctors and Hospitals.
• Provide details of medical insurance / ambulance cover (not free like the UK)
• Advise on electric and gas connections within your rental property.
• We will also provide address details for your nearest Internet cafe/post office, tax office (to get your tax number), transport department office (for your driving licence), and Medicare branch, so you have health cover
• Your agent will contact you to answer any questions and welcome you to Australia
• Organise transport from your hotel to your new property or rental accommodation

After you have settled in, we will:

• Put you in touch with other ex pats, forward details of parties, coffee mornings or gatherings (subject to demand, but usually very popular).
• Be available to help with further queries
