If I migrate from the UK to Australia under the 'Student' visa category then will I be eligible for free health care ? |
The Australian Government has signed Reciprocal Health Care Agreement (RHCA) with the UK Government. However if you are visiting Australia on a student visa, you are not covered by Medicare and should take out your own health insurance cover. |
Are scholarships available ? |
Yes. Scholarships are available for international students. However, most are offered for postgraduate study in universities. The majority of international students in Australia are full-fee paying students and are not awarded scholarships. |
